White Cap Strengthens Northeast Supply Chain with New Distribution Center

The company’s latest investment expands delivery capacity, improves inventory availability, and helps contractors receive construction supplies faster across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 7 August 2026 – White Cap has taken another major step in strengthening its supply chain by opening its second Enterprise Distribution Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The new facility marks the company’s first large-scale distribution hub in the eastern United States and reflects its continued focus on improving service for construction professionals. The center adds nearly 481,000 square feet of distribution space and is expected to play a key role in supporting customers across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The new distribution center currently serves 67 White Cap branches spread across 13 states. Major construction markets, including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., will benefit from faster product movement and better inventory availability. By positioning products closer to customer job sites, White Cap aims to reduce delivery times while making supply operations more reliable.

The facility currently employs 66 associates, with plans to expand the workforce as operations continue to grow. Company leaders believe the investment will help improve order fulfillment while creating a stronger and more efficient logistics network. The new center is designed to ensure that contractors receive the tools, safety equipment, and construction materials they need without unnecessary delays.

The Bethlehem facility follows the successful launch of White Cap’s first Enterprise Distribution Center in Perris, California, which opened in 2025. Together, these strategically located centers are helping the company build a nationwide distribution network capable of supporting increasing customer demand across North America.

The new distribution center is part of a broader expansion strategy that combines infrastructure investment with business acquisitions. Earlier this year, White Cap strengthened its market presence through acquisitions and also introduced a Customer Delivery Hub in Tennessee to improve job site deliveries. These initiatives demonstrate the company’s commitment to creating a faster, more responsive supply chain for professional contractors.

Today, White Cap operates approximately 575 branches across North America and serves nearly 200,000 customers with a workforce of more than 12,000 employees. As construction activity continues to grow, investments in modern distribution facilities are expected to improve product availability, streamline logistics, and support customers with quicker access to essential construction supplies.
