The FCC has been urged by Amazon to deny SpaceX the chance to create a second-generation Starlink network. SpaceX, according to Amazon, would be in violation of the regulator's standards in this regard. Amazon intends to build its own satellite internet network. The system, known as Project Kuiper, has yet to take off. Starlink, on the other hand, has 1,700 satellites in orbit and serves 100,000 users worldwide. According to a report by PCMag, SpaceX wants to improve download speeds and is seeking clearance from FCC for its second-generation Starlink network. Amazon has alleged that the plan is too speculative in nature and breaks FCC’s rules. Amazon has not filed a formal complaint, but rather a letter of protest.
